Mens 4.5, Womens 4.5, Mixed 9.0 League

Team Type: This event is a combination of Adult 4.5 Men, 4.5 Women and 9.0 Mixed

Schedule: Saturdays 1pm-3pm 

Fee: A bargain at $25 for 7 weeks  

Play Format:

- Each player will typically play one Mixed match (9.0) and one Adults match (4.5) on that day

- Pairing and court assignments will be determined by the captains ahead of the event

- Registering after the first 24 slots (12 of each gender) have been filled will put you on the waitlist, which will also serve as a Substitution list in the event we have a need for players throughout the season. 

Expectations & Responsibilities:

- Captain are responsible for determining weekly line ups, sending email reminders to those playing, and finding subs for cancellations.

- All club leagues are social tennis gatherings with no pressure and a great way to play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Social tennis can satisfy members’ desire for competition while keeping the focus on fun. An important part of the fun is remembering to treat other club members with respect and courtesy, on and off the court. Good sportsmanship is the standard the San Carlos Tennis Club expects everyone to meet!

The following rules apply if you participate in club events at Arguello:

1. Please do not come onto the courts until the appointed time of event.

2. Mask up as you exit your vehicle and wear it until you are playing on court. Bring your own hand sanitizer.  The Club has a limited supply of sanitizer and masks, if needed.

3. Maintain a social distance of 6 feet, including during turnovers. Place bags far apart on the sidelines.

4. Bring a new can of balls, marked as yours, and do not touch balls of others who are serving; use your foot or racquet to return balls.

5. Mask up again once play is completed. We recommend leaving the facility after you play; if you stay as a spectator, you must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. No food or drink (other than water that each player brings).

Be considerate of other players.  If you feel ill OR have been exposed within the last 14 days to someone who has tested positive, please skip our tennis events.
