Women's 7.5 Combo Doubles

ALL slots are filled.

Thank you!

Play Type: If you participated in the prior 7.5 Women's Combo league, the format will be similar.  The focus will continue to be FUN COMPETITIVE tennis.  Players will be divided into 2 groups with balanced skill levels to ensure competitive play.

Schedule:  Thursday evening. Courts will be available at 7 pm for warm up.  Matches start at 7:15 sharp.

Location: Arguello Courts 1-4

Play Format:

- 12 players per group.  One player from each group will be designated as group organizer (i.e., captain), so when registering, please indicate if you're willing to be a group organizer.

-  Each group will play 4 doubles lines.

-  Play regular sets with Ad scoring.

-  2nd set:  To ensure competitive play, winners will play winners from the adjacent court regardless of group affiliation OR if the wait for the adjacent court to finish their set will be more than 10 minutes, players from the same court may opt to switch partners.

-  This is a friendly event, so scores are not recorded :-)

Expectations & Responsibilities:

- Group organizers are responsible for determining weekly line ups & court assignments, sending email reminders to those playing, and finding subs for cancellations.

- All players will help with end of the night closing activities: locking up facility/gates, minor clean up.

SCTC is committed to the safety and health of our members.

The following rules apply if you participate in club events at Arguello:

1. Please do not come onto the courts until the appointed time of event.

2. Mask up as you exit your vehicle and wear it until you are playing on court. Bring your own hand sanitizer.  The Club has a limited supply of sanitizer and masks, if needed.

3. Maintain a social distance of 6 feet, including during turnovers. Place bags far apart on the sidelines.

4. Bring a new can of balls, marked as yours, and do not touch balls of others who are serving; use your foot or racquet to return balls.

5. Mask up again once play is completed. We recommend leaving the facility after you play; if you stay as a spectator, you must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. No food or drink (other than water that each player brings).

Be considerate of other players.  If you feel ill OR have been exposed within the last 14 days to someone who has tested positive, please skip our tennis events.
