New Club Policy effective August 1, 2026

USTA Matches – Regular Season

Once the USTA coordinator posts the schedule, captains may only request schedule/court changes for the regular season matches the following reasons:

• Error in date/time/court

• Double booked matches

• Conflict due to holidays, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day

• Any other change requests are subject to approval by the USTA Coordinator or SCTC President

After the start of the season, all change requests must be made at least 10 days in advance

Teams will incur court fees for any unused courts for change request made less than 10 days in advance plus additional court and service fees for any new reservation

USTA Matches – Post-Season

• Captains can only request post-season courts if and only if their team has mathematically secured a home playoff position
• For two playoff match situations, Captains can only request courts the first week
• Only after a win, the Captain can request courts for the second week
• Captains may request to tentatively hold only one date/time/court for their post-season match and one back up date in case of inclement weather
• Captains have 48 hours to confirm or change their choices
• Choices not confirmed within 48 hours are automatically cancelled and available for all other post-season teams
• The back up date cannot be used to substitute for the primary date unless it is due to inclement weather
• Once the choice is confirmed, no other changes are allowed unless it is due to inclement weather or unplayable conditions

Courts and Match Time

Court Selection

• Captains must find an open weekend day/time at Arguello Park or Carlmont to accommodate all of their lines at one location
• Split locations will only be allowed if there are no open courts available
• Use of Arguello Park and Highlands Park Courts on weeknights and Sunday evening for USTA matches is not allowed unless all weekend date/time slots are unavailable
• Exceptions will be made for make up matches or to complete the season

Match Start Time

• All matches must start at the same time. Split start times will be allowed if there are no courts available
